pbbeck Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 Ever since my 6000-mile service about 8 weeks ago I've noticed a tendency for my bike to reluctantly settle back to it's proper idle RPM. Coasting towards a stop, throttle released, clutch pulled in, the Rs will stay high for about 5 seconds and then settle to a normal 1000-1100 RPM idle. The phenomenon seems random and intermittent. Any thoughts? Link to comment
jsiets Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 If they changed the air filter, the throttle cable could be pinched by the air intake pipe. Also, I would call the dealer and see if they flashed a software update to the computer. Link to comment
