Fumoto Drain Valve for Transmission?

Anyone ever use a Fumoto valve for the transmission drain?

 

I just did my Camhead again and ended up with gear oil all over my garage floor. They made accessing that area almost impossible to do while simultaneously wedging a funnel in there...grrrr...let me not get started...

 

I agree that the engine oil drain plug is a bad candidate for a Fumoto but the transmission drain is kind of recessed up and away from anything that might hit it. I've used these valves for years in my cars with zero issues so I'm not concerned about it failing, I'm just wondering if there's some other reason I shouldn't use one for the transmission.
