chrisx
This may be just be a case of newbie nerves or ??? or not really an oilhead q. My ride home involves an area that has had asphalt striping skinned off and it has left a 1/4 inch or so linear scar. when the road is wet the bike seems very skittery. so last night, on a flat area, i leaned the bike to the side while counterbalancing ( road wet) and i get the same behavior. I am running the stock tires. Since our area is wet a lot ( seattle) and i have bridge gratings et al as well i just wanted to get some feedback on whether alignment could be an issue or would a set of less "street type" tires be appropriate for better sidewall grip. etc. thanks...
