TEWKS Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 How are you doing Bob? (Endobobdds) I could be wrong but I'm assuming you're in recovery mode from knee surgery? Just a shout out and hope for a speedy transition back on two wheels!
Endobob Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Thanks for asking Pat and for the interest/concern of other board members that have reached out to me. Surgery (1/23/19) was a total knee replacement and removal of a metal rod in my tibia from a previous motorcycle (track) accident. Physical therapy 2X per week since and daily exercise since surgery. Started 2 weeks ago going back to the gym and doing stationary spinning every day. Still some pain during PT, however, now walking without a cane. Still cannot fully straighten or completely bend back my leg. However, I feel that I am almost totally functional. Weather here in DC allowed me to take my first motorcycle ride yesterday. Short 1 hour, easy ride without any problems. 6
marcopolo Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 Bob, now tell us how many speeding tickets you got on your test ride.
TEWKS Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 Glad you're doing well, Bob! It sounds like you'll be in tip top shape for Lake George!
Indy Dave Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Thanks for the update, Bob - we knee-ed that! 1

The removal of hardware makes postop pain more acute. I started riding again last month. I started working out on my treadmill two weeks ago. You will get better but it’s a long process. The Ossur Cold Rush is indespensible. I often slept with it on.
