Hiker Needs Help With Garmin GPS64st

In my other life I am on the board of the American Discovery Trail Society which runs the ADT cross country trail. We have a member who hates all things tech and is looking for help uploading a GPX file to his Garmin. For the last 2 years he has been sending it to some yute and paying him to set it up but that person has gone away. He took it to a local computer expert and they weren't able to do it either. I don't have a Garmin myself so don't know how to help.

Is there anybody here who might be able to upload the GPX file if he sent them the unit? I can supply the GPX file, I have uploaded it to several other GPS related programs/apps/sites without any problem.

 

Reading the BaseCamp documentation this seems like it should be a trivial operation, but apparently not...
