TEWKS
So, you see her left leg in the wheelbarrow? I told her that if she put too much weight on the front of it she was going to take a tumble. "Yeah, yeah, I know!" I'm sitting in my truck a few minutes later and I hear a big boom! I walked back up and she was like, what, nothing to see here. I did get her to admit that I was right. Dang, that was harder than getting Arthur Fonzarelli to admit that he was wrong. Link to comment
Skywagon
One horsepower....its a start. She's very close to HD power now. Looks like she is collecting ribbons at a pretty fast pace. 1 Link to comment
TEWKS
Fortunately or unfortunately, it's not her barn. But, she does have a pretty good collection of them at home. Link to comment
mrduck
Finally got out today, made it 10 miles and looked down and saw this! Thick yucky hot oil sprayed all over me and the bike. The seal under the spark plug hole failed. Limped back home, cleaned it up and the Dutchman had a fresh seal stashed away and delivered it! All back together and ready to go.......... 1 Link to comment

MikeB60
Thought about Tewks when I saw this old timer a few weeks ago. A small volunteer fire department outside of Columbus fixed her up. Unfortunately they got some additional equipment and had to move her outside. 3 Link to comment
TEWKS
Nice old Lafrance, Mike! Tewksbury ran them back in the day. Matter of fact, there was one still in service when I got on the dept. Simple trucks compared to the computer laden rigs they have today. Link to comment

TEWKS
Thanks, yeah she does do pretty well! The ribbons in that last pic belong to the barn she rides out of. Her collection is beginning to add up though. The boxing trophies are my son’s if you were wondering. 1 1 Link to comment
RandyShields
I headed out this afternoon for a short ride before the arctic blast arrives in the Carolinas overnight. We're not in the deep south, but occasionally we get surprised coming around a rural corner with a field that is not corn or cows. This is not snow! Still amazing to see out on the road. 2 Link to comment

wbw6cos
Red-tailed hawk. Swooped down over me while on the mower (leaves.) This is the second time he showed up while i was on the mower; he did the same a couple of weeks ago. I thought he was after me, but today he landed in the grass to snatch up a small snake. He then perched himself on my peachtree about 12 feet up. He hung out long enough to pose. My friend. 6 Link to comment
