Bye Red, It’s time to move on. :(

Nope!  Not yet.  It is just a sheet rock screw; it can happen to any bike.  (My red one, for example.)

Well, we didn’t save a baby from a burning building, with a nuclear bomb stored in the basement and a cat stuck on the roof :classic_biggrin: but, we did put in some service time.
Yesterday BTW. :dontknow:

Spoiler
Today we started to recognize some of our longest serving members, with handing out Massachusetts Firefighter service award pins and certificates. This is long over due, and thank you to Deputy Guttadauro for researching and putting a list together. These are given out to anyone with 20 or more years of service to the Tewksbury Fire Department.
Today 4 members from Unit 4 were recognized.
Lt. Fortunato 20 years (7/9/2001)
Lt. Karlberg 20 years (2/5/2001)
FF P. Brothers Sr. 25 Years 6/12/1995)
Capt. S. Keddie 35 Years ( longest serving member of our Department) (3/11/1987)
I would like to personally thank them for their years of dedicated service to the Town Of Tewksbury.
More members to be recognized in the coming days.
Chief Kearns

I know I’d be hanging it from a tree limb preferably over a body of water. But, I guess imagination isn’t sold at the Apple Store. Truth be told, they may have started putting the donations next to one of our tires. Not confirmed :dontknow: but it struck me as funny. :)

Loved it growing up. Snow days, tobogganing, skiing, snowmobiling, quadding, and hitting the roads before the plows got to them. Still love it now but only in pictures

Sparky back together?

Yep (for the most part….)

Work wouldn't accommodate my Dr. orders so I had 3 wks off & stitched Frank(enstein) back together as replacement parts were a month out.

The the worse part of this incident (for the bike) is that the tube that ties the bottom/battery frame to the top/main frame has a crack on the top/front weld & the bottom/front was stressed.
I fabricated a strap to insure it holds together until I have it properly repaired (or not, it’s just a commuter bike with nearly 80k on it)

You all on the East coast enjoy your Fall colors.
Here in SoCal we make do with the Sycamore’s Winter transition.

Frank errr…. Sparky is one again.

Wow, the late nights in the Laboratory really paid off, looks good as new or at least, as good as 80 thousand miles will allow!

I don’t really know what a recon mission is but, I think I just went on one. :classic_biggrin: I ordered a truck last February :( and just found out it landed in Ayer Ma. at the Rail Yard. So, I took a drive. I should of just asked at the gate but this was more fun. :classic_ninja: I don’t think they’d of let me look anyway.

Ummmm, what you did was a recon mission.  Receive intel report on target, maneuver to operations area, get close enough to observe without detection, gather intelligence, exfiltrate without being compromised, then report your findings.

Fortnine pushed out a vid on the X last week.  He opines it might be a near-perfect road/off road ADV choice.

Phil likes it but he's a long time Ducati hyperbike guy and has had a couple GS's, the current I250 he dropped in the sand a few times on the recent Trans Fla ride. Hasn't had the X off road yet but glad to see he's up for it in the future on something more manageable. My only complaint is it's way too quiet, need to hear that beautiful music.
