I loved it, loved the ADV model that I rode a while back even more. It will be an ADV if and when it happens. Now for a funny thing that I didn’t expect. Getting back on my old bike to head home I was thinking, this thing is going to feel like a pig. It didn’t, fit and felt like a well worn glove! $460.00 for the tires mounted & balanced with new valve stems. I just don’t wear out enough of them to make it worth the effort. And, a rip on new equipment while I wait! Link to comment

And, a rip on new equipment while I wait! $460, ouch, granted, I ouched some new Anakee Adventures at $381(likely go different brand after this set), but I'm getting a $50 gift card back, so, $331, and well, my labor is free. Tools (spoons, balancer, rim guards(gave up on that) and weights) were about $180. 'bout three tire changes and kit paid for. Now, with being down to two bikes and averaging just under 20k a year on miles, thats two+ tire changes a year......ifn I'm lucky. I have been thinking about going all modern and getting me a which would be about a seven year return (unless I get/charge people to do theirs, which would shorten the return), .......it's still in the thinking/wishing phase. 1 Link to comment

roadscholar
We got out for another picnic/drive today, surprised to find the little roadside park we've stopped before open, nearly all the other city, county, and state parks have been closed. ESokoloff
Went for a hike today and found that although the neighborhood park is closed, I found it packed with Kid’s......... Normally the Homeowners associations disks the open space perimeter for fire defensive space. November 9th 2018 the Wosley fire roared through at 01:00. This defensive space as well as favorable winds protected all 230+ houses in the track. Im not sure the goats will be enough due to the March Miracle rains. We'll see. 1 1 Link to comment
