Feb SECFF Check In with Pics

A great day to be on the bike, a really good turnout, hopefully someone got a head count.  I know we exceeded the 8 setting reservation the Hostess said we had :5146:and then when Ken told her there would be about 20, oh my, for a minute it looked like we would be eating in shifts. She took a deep breath and found another table. The meal is always good at Deano's as is the conversation. Roads were a little on the damp side in spots but a 70° day in February is nothing to complain about. Wonderful to see everyone, be safe.

The top pizza, what do we have there? Sausage, Peperoni & Ham? I'm sure it won't taste as good but that's my next pie combo right there! :eat: Great pics Terry!

I did tell them to expect more then 8 people, but I don't think she paid any attention to what I said.

It got warmer the further north we rode.

I had 3 guys follow me (Rob, Bil and Ashley) from Jacksonville, it would have been 4, but we pulled out 2 minutes too early.

The problem was that Dave R. didn't tell me he will meet me/us and ride with us. If I don't know I should wait for you, I will not. LOL

Anyway we 4 rode to Baxley and had a nice break with some coffee and a few muffins.

After some nourishment, we refilled the bikes fuel tanks and the long way to Dublin to meet everyone for lunch.

My pizza was the Spinach and Bacon Pizza.

After lunch we first rode west, before going south. As they say, anyone can ride a straight line.

Home around 5:15 PM after 488 miles.

Thank you everyone for showing up and making this another great event.

I hope to see everyone in March.

What a great turn out! Glad you all got together and that the waitress didn't walk out when she learned of the increased numbers.

And yes, Terry, that pie looked delicious, but I'm surprised that would hold you over till dinner.

I counted 17 riders.  The roads were great and weather was pretty good, though not as good as the forecast had promised.  Arrived home just before 3pm with another 300 miles on the clock.
