Skywagon
Hey folks...I've done this many times in the past, but forgotten how. Can somebody remind me how to take a GPX file from mapsource and rename it to work in basecamp. I know not all the points will be accurate which is ok. Link to comment
Kinsley
Cant you just save it somewhere and then open the file in BaseCamp? Link to comment
Skywagon
my brain refreshed and Ifigured it out. I had done it for all my old files but someone sent me a new one in gdb mapsource today. Link to comment
Bernie
Save it in MapSource as a .gpx and then import it into BaseCamp. That's it isn't? I haven't used MapSource in a few years, but I think that's what I used to do. Link to comment
Skywagon
yes Bernie that is correct. 1 Link to comment
lkraus
I've never used Mapsource as I came to the Garmin world just a couple years ago, but it seems like Basecamp should be able to import a .gdb file directly. If I select a list folder in WIndows Basecamp and then click File>Import, .gdb files are included in the types that are suitable for import. Am I missing something? Link to comment
