Peter_Doege
I recently installed a Rick Mayer seat on my R1100R to replace the Sargeant seat that it came with. It made a huge difference. I used to get leg stiffness and pain after 30 minutes or so. I just finished a 3 hour trip on the Mayer seat with absolutely no pain, cramps, or stiffness. Great stuff! Peter Link to comment
Dances_With_Wiener_Dogs
Good for you, errr, good for your butt! I bought a used Corbin and am waiting for a good weekend to give it a proper test. I don't like it for commuting though because of the wider stance necessary at stops and around here, stops at rush hour are common. Have fun! Link to comment
ssn717
Glad to hear that!! I hope I can post a similar comment when I get my seat back in a couple weeks from the other Mayer (Rocky). Link to comment
Peter_Doege
Yesterday I put 8 hours on the bike. Went down to Lake Okeechobee and back via the long, winding route. Met a nice guy going from Tenn. to the Keys on his K1100LT. I was definitely done when I got home, but my butt was in good condition. That seat is the best farkle that I've ever bought. Foot
I'm the exact opposite, I replaced a Rick Mayers with a Sargent and what a difference it made. Granted the Mayers seat was on the bike when I bought it. It had already started to break down. Alan Link to comment
