macx Posted September 26, 2018 I think I really goofed. Hadn't ridden in a little while, had forgot about period spray lube for the side case latch. Went to open one and pulled too fast / hard on the latch. Something snapped inside the latch assembly and now it doesn't latch. A quick look sort of looks like there's no way to get it apart to see what wrong or hopefully fix it. I'm going to look at the S/S online fiche and see if they break down any parts for it, but am not hopeful. Any experience or suggestions? Thanks!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mrzoom Posted October 13, 2018 Note to self. Go slow, take pictures and make notes. A cardboard outline of the inside so you can put the screws where they came from.
