bubbamoore
The time has finally come to replace the rear brake pads and rotor. I'm considering looking at aftermarket and am hoping someone here has experience and advice to help me navigate around any potential problems. Thanks in advance ! Link to comment
strataj
I'm using EBC FA209/2HH Sintered Double H for the rear. Are you sure you need new rotors? Haven't heard anyone replace them yet. If so I'd buy EBC Jay Edited July 23, 2018 by strataj Link to comment
Skywagon
Bubba....what is your mileage? I'm fond of EBC shoes too. I've never replaces rotors so no opinion on those. Link to comment
Rider1200RT
I did replace a rear rotor on my Oilhead GSA but never on any street bike I owned..It was an EBC and it is good quality however. Link to comment
Paul4450
I went with Carbone Lorraine rear pads from Beemer Boneyard at about 10K miles. I've adjusted my braking style so hopefully they are lasting longer. That and maybe these will last longer. So far, so good. I did not replace the rotor. Thickness was within specs and no lip at edge. Link to comment
