Morning Marty It is difficult to tell much from the outside but those early 650 GS bikes were noted for expensive charging system stator failures (especially from hot weather areas). Link to comment

It will be my 4th 650GS/can't seem to decide if I really like them. At some point the 12GS will be a bit much for me so the little brother will be my last moto. Yes, I have a sickness! I wasn't witness to this but my brother In Law who had an eye shot out with a BB gun as a kid would freak people out at parties by popping his glass eye out and dropping it in his drink for a toast.
