halo modulators

hi guys

just last week I was surfing youtube videos of R1200RTW's and came across one from asia that had the halo lights moving/rotating as the bike was moving. unfortunately I can't find it anymore, but most importantly is there a kit out there that can do this. I think it might be a great safety feature aside from additional lighting

Do you mean like this one? This is caused because the lights are LED. All LED lights do this when filmed .

although I have seen many youtube videos where the halos are steady. Not sure why there would be a difference, except film quality frames per second??

but i bet it could be done

Depending on the State, one would have to check the V.C. to see if it would be legal if one could wire the lights to do that . It's not a headlight modulater per se (legal in Ca.) and could be mistaken for a L.E wig-wag.

As reg26 says. What you are seeing is a strobe effect caused by the filming. In real life your eyes don't see this.
