Frustrated_Diver
Monday i bent my front rim on my 2015 R1200RTW and hopefully will have the repaired wheel back on Friday. Can anyone confirm that the torque value for the rotor bolts is 19 nm with a dash of blue Loctite? Google was not very forthcoming with lots of hits confirming my search. Link to comment
lkraus
19Nm is the correct final torque per the BMw DVD repair manual. Clean all the old locking compound out of the threads first, and tighten in stages in a diagonally opposite sequence. BMW recommends using new screws (which come with locking compound) but I've not had nor heard of any problems from reusing the screws with LocTite. Edited December 21, 2016 by lkraus Link to comment
