Never thought about this. Removes need for trailer

It may be technically legal, but it can't be safe to do. There's nothing solid enough on that car to mount the carrier to. I can imagine everything coming off if he had to swerve.

The best bike I've ever had.

If my health were better and, much more critically, I could find one with a straight frame and whose engine hasn't eaten gravel through holes in the crankcase covers, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

That's a CRX, right? Isn't the whole body on that just plastic panels that bolt/clip on to the frame? I suppose you could probably then bolt your tie down points securely, but it does seem like a lot of weight MUCH higher up than the the not that widely spaced tie downs. I guess it's a step up from the guy riding down the road holding a mattress on the roof with his hand out the window... maybe.
