thanks for reviewing these. I've been wondering about the synthetic uppers on their boots.

They work like a charm. I last tested the $550 ADV Gore Tex models 2 years ago. Those were fantastic, but unless you're doing serious off roading, I think these will get you 95% of the way there, for much less ($295)
