Groanup Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 So this year I was asked what I wanted for Father's Day, again, and I replied that I would like to take a ride. Well, that's not happening... Apparently Fathers are expected to be home for their children n such, so... ...Instead, I am going to take a ride on the Friday before. Thought I'd see if any of you would like to join me. You don't have to be a Dad... I will be taking Angeles Crest/Forest roads out through Lancaster to Tehachapi, Caliente/Bodfish road up to Isabella and have lunch in Kernville. After lunch I will be heading back down via Kern Canyon Road which parallels 178, but on the other side of the river, then down to 58 and back through Lancaster and eventually home. LINK to map Leaving from the Shell station (210 at ACH) about 9 am. It'll be a longish day, but the weather is supposed to really nice! Link to comment
