tom collins
I want to thank whoever it was that suggested cleaning the radiators of the brick K bikes with orange cleaner and then a rinse. I did my 30,000 oil change yesterday on my RS and wanted to address the issue of the bike seeming to get warm faster than in past years. Remembering that tip, I soaked the radiator twice while I did the oil change. When the oil was done, I sprayed the radiator with the garden hose. On the test ride, everything was back to being nice and cool. Thanks whoever you are. Link to comment
Tri750
We used simple green at the dealership, but any degreaser, especially a citrus based one would be fine. The k bikes also like a new rad cap at every flush. It's 32-34 dollars that is cheap insurance . So is flushing the cooling system. Link to comment
