Hall sensor repair

I have been absent from the board for a bit. Seems there has been a lot of water under the bridge. I'm getting on here because my brother just acquired a 99 R1100RT with sidecar and had a very similar incident with his old rt that I had. Members of this board were so kind as to provide much needed advice and PDFs of the hall sensor repair and other helpful information regarding replacement parts etc... These bits of info have been passed on to my brother as resources that I was very thankful for in my first months of RT ownership. Members of this board are greatly appreciated by me.
