djbock
Just wanted to post a BIG THANK YOU to this forum and all the members that contribute. Due to the valuable information contributed here my RT that I picked up last summer is purring like a kitten. Accomplished a full service (for winter storage), removed and had HES rebuilt, changed to recommended plugs to reduce surging, set valves, upgraded to SS brake lines, purchased Harmonizer and balanced TB's, adjusted TPS and replaced clutch switch. Now the surging that I had experienced before is completely gone and it feels like a new machine. So again, thank you all. Now to find some gently used shark fins as I completely forgot about removing them when I balanced the TB's so they are a little bubbled, OOPS , yeah headers get hot very quickly. Link to comment
Charles Elms
Set a portable window fan in front of the bike before you sync the TBs. Link to comment
