Rumbles Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 My harley oil filter wrench fits the bmw filter so I don't think you have to have the bmw spec wrench. Try taking the new filter to a auto parts supply store and match it to one that fits, my local store has many different sizes. Link to comment

The plastic style will not fit as the wall is too thick. The size to get is 76mm 14 flute. This will fit the OEM and Bosch 3330. Others, although they may fit the filter housing, can be smaller.
