Bob Boro Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Along the left side of the air box on my 2003 R1150RT is a clear plastic tube with a black L-shaped male fitting at the end of it. It looks like it should plug-in somewhere but I don't see where it would go. I didn't see any comparable female fitting on the air box. Maybe it's a vent for a drain? I don't know. What is it and what do I need to do with it? Thanks! Link to comment

Tri750 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Hopefully your bike now has a sealed battery of some type. As mentioned the tube was the overflow from the original flooded acid battery. The plastic fitting snapped into the battery. You can give it a chop-ectomy as tugging on it may not work due to zip ties. Link to comment
