kalali
The factory windscreen on my R1100R is awful. Its dull, scratched and it looks like there is a coating that is streaked around the edges. Has anyone tried reviving a windscreen in a bad condition? I took it off when I bought the bike and put a smaller windscreen/flyscreen but like to use it if its not a total loss. Any help is appreciated. Link to comment
John Ranalletta
I've had good luck using light polish compound on windscreens. It's similar to the headlight polishes. When I cut down the windscreen a few years ago with a sabre saw, I used a 1500 grit sand paper to smooth the edges followed with light polish compound. Link to comment
Michaelr11
Novus Plastic polish. Comes in three grades for Heavy Scratches, Fine Scratches and just polishing (3, 2 & 1). Seems to be a favorite of aircraft owners. Link to comment
