basilr Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 I have my 2005 RT and my wife has her F800ST. When we took them in for service in preparation for the 2015 riding season last fall, I ended up with her oil filter on my bike and she got mine on hers. I just discovered this because the two BMW filters take different style filter wrenches to get them off and thankfully I had them both. I had to use her wrench to get the filter off the RT yesterday when doing my end of season oil and filter change. I am wondering if this switch could have any negative affect to either bike so if anyone can offer any information on this, I would appreciate it. Thank you, Basil. Link to comment
