Kannon Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Can anyone recommend an independent motorcycle shop that can work on BMW's near Charleston, SC? My son recently moved there and needs to find a shop to work on his '05 R-1200ST. There is a dealer there but they are quite expensive and it sounds to me like their service dept. could use some help. I'm 400+ miles away so can't do much for him except when he comes to visit. Right now he just needs some tires but a 10 year old BMW is bound to have a repair issue from time to time. Thanks, Bruce Link to comment
mickeym3 Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 Know it's 200 miles away but Touring Sport in Greenville is top notch and their rates are reasonable compared to other BMW shops. If nobody else has a recommendation I'll email a friend in Charleston who may have a recommendation. Link to comment

I really wish my son still lived close by, I have a well equipped shop and would enjoy being able to spend time working on his bike with him but I'm just too far away to change tires and do repairs for him.
