graydude Posted September 25, 2015 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Havasu Dave and I had a great trip to Lake Tahoe. This time of the year the weather is spectacular and no crowds. Our first stop was the WW2 War Relocation Center at Manzanar. Very moving. So sad what the Japaneses Americans had to go through. This is the view outside our hotel in Kings Beach. Beautiful Lake Tahoe We took HWY 20 into Nevada City. Havasu Dave on the right and yours truly on the left. It was a bad hair day. Met some local talent right outside out hotel room. We rode Hwy 49 north of Grass Valley and looped back to Hwy 89. Hwy 49 is not to be missed. I smell a rally up in these parts. We banzai rode it home on Thursday. Dave had the desert heat and I had so Cal heat and rush hour traffic but it was so worth it! Link to comment
