Are there any members living in or close to Glendale, CA and Ft. Worth, TX? I'm looking at a Ducati ST4S for sale at Pro Italia and a Ducati ST3 at Royal Enfield of Ft. Worth/MJ Sales.

If you're in these 'hoods and can spare the time to stop at the dealer and inspect the bike please send me a PM.

Thanks!

Yeeha! Stephen

I'm in Ft Worth and I can run by and look at the Ducati in the morning.

Don't know much about Ducks so other than obvious abuse, what do I need to look for?

Maint stuff like chain and sprocket condition. Brake disk condition. Rust and Corrosion. Tip-over damage and/or abused bodywork is what I usually look for.

Black with a UT orange floor. I vote you bring it to the UN next year.

Oy, bring her to the next Un? I've attended all my Un's on the RT and she won't like being left home.....

Randy... what's-a-matta.. You don't call your friend?

I happen to know where one is in SLC with a very interesting story behind it.

It is in Sena trim... silver and painted wheels- yellow I think.... if it is still there.

I will dig through my resources.

I'd like to hear about that! I can't afford one, but I'm still shopping - maybe in like two more years...

The money's been wire transferred and the MC shipper is scheduled to pick up the bike this Wednesday.

Delivery will be either on the 8th or the 10th. And now the waiting game begins. :(

Oh, back to the shipping thing. The dealer gave me three companies he's used for shipping bikes. One doesn't come to Colorado and the other two were approximately $150 more than the company I've used in the past: Federal Transport. They've been great to work with in the past and this time proved no different.

While it would be a HUGE sacrifice I'm volunteering to ride over to your place and then ride the Ducati to the Un...not for my pleasure, you understand, but just so that th e attendees can have a chance to see the bike.

Oh, man. I know the whole history of that bike, or rather, bikes. Crashed twice, the former owner had to find another, totaled one, and put the two together to make one. It never ran right again, frame isn't straight, the guy used a rattle can to repaint some parts. Dang, sorry, Randy. At least you like the shipping company.
