Bud
I usually don't buy them. But I bought a Sears router and a member of a router forum said they last a little over a year. So I bought the three year warranty and I'm getting a new one today, 1 year and one month after I bought the first one. Best $16.50 I've spent in a long while. Link to comment
greiffster
Take the difference for a new router and add it to your "tank bag adapter ring" fund. Link to comment
tallman
Use the router and make a place for a tank bag. Link to comment
Bud
You guys are killing me here. The bad news is that they wouldn't replace it at the store. Have to file a claim online and get a gift card for the value of the purchase. Link to comment

Lose the receipt and/or documentation for the warranty. C. Give up on the process of the warranty claim. Sears can't be giving away routers for 16 bucks. Link to comment
