AndyS Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 The one on the left looks like the tommy bar for the spark plug box spanner. The one on the right is an extension bar for use with the wheel nut spanner. is allows you to stand on the flat portion giving you half a chance of undoing the rear wheel nuts. These were standard items in the tool roll of the R1100/1150 bikes. I understand the tools supplied with the new R1200RTW consist of a small spanner and a screwdriver. Good luck with those 2 items! mneblett Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 The one on the left works as an extension of the reversible screwdriver -- one end is crimped to fit into the screwdriver handle, and the other end is shaped to receive the screwdriver philips/straight shaft. Link to comment

Though I'll admit, it also is useful at a buffet. And Or for following a border collie... Link to comment
