tpfeffer Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I was returning home at night and noticed the Multipurpose Display that sits between the tach and speedo on my 2013 R1200RT was blank. The screen was backlit but contained no information. The bike ran fine just no display. I just had the switch clusters replaced by BMW and my first thought was perhaps they left a wire partially unplugged. So I operated with all switches on both handlebars but nothing changed. After getting home, I used the key to turn the bike off then on and the display was fine. I documented the blank display on my iPhone and showed it to my dealer. He said if it happened again to bring it in and they would write up a ticket to document the problem. The bike has 8,000 miles. Has this happened to anyone else? Link to comment
