HH0
Does anyone know if the handlebar risers for an 1100RT will fit an 1150RT? Thanks Link to comment
HH0
thank you, I had differing info from non BMW source so I will take your answer as the final answer. Link to comment
szurszewski
Hey Harold - When I bought the set that's currently on my R1100RT (excellent purchase, by the way) from Southsound BMW up in Fife, the bag was labeled for both models. josh Link to comment
PAS
I put a set on my 03 RT and it made a great improvement. Just make sure your cables are not stressed. Link to comment
Bob Boro
Was there enough room when you installed the risers or did you have to install new cables/hoses as well? Link to comment

AndyS
Should work with original cables and hoses. Check carefully for undue tension on anything when the handlebars are turned to full lock. Link to comment
mneblett
If the brake hose on the right is tight, you can release the top of the right fork tube from the steering head, pull the tube down and pass the hose to the rear of the fork tube. Also, you may have to release a cable tie or two in the region below the steering head to free up a little slack in the wire harnesses. FWIW, I once stacked two sets of bar risers on an R12RT (not the same bike, but similar -- it uses the same risers as an R11RT/R1150RT) without having to change hoses. Link to comment
