FiferWD Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I've done something dumb. Rebuilding a Valeo D6RA75 starter, I did not bother to photograph the dis-assembly. So the new magnet housing and armature arrived from Euro Moto Electrics and.. On the brush end of the armature I have a thick spacer, a washer and a thin shim washer. Does that thick spacer go inside the magnet housing or outside? Link to comment

Now all I need to do is melt the 2 inches of ice in the driveway. Garage is under the house, and I don't feature running up hill on ice! Tnx! Link to comment
