Bada bing Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Having a nightmare getting my bar ends back in (gsa 1200) following removal to fit grips. Clutch side was easy throttle side refuses to tighten in by about 20 mm any ideas ? Link to comment
Chris K Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 The bar end bolts on the GS are usually held on from the factory by red locktite. Make sure you thoroughly clean all traces of the locktite from the threads on the bolt. If this does not do it then use a hair dryer and heat up the female threads in the bars to soften the remaining red locktite. Link to comment
