There was a detour on a remote mountain road, it was gravel for about 20 miles, I had no Idea when it was going to end. Any way coming back down the west side of the mountain pass were were two up fully loaded riding the back brake in the gravel Just as we got back on the pavement it failed. I took the caliper into the dealer, the rep said he would get back to me if it is repairable. ( he said not likely) $850 plus the pads, plus I melted the plastic on the ABS sensor wire. Looks like with tax 1200-1300 ! Any one have any idea where I could buy a used one? Checked the net, nothing. Link to comment
