woodscrew
Does anyone know where I could buy a Bmw shop manual for my '99RT? My dealer told me 3 years ago that paper manuals were no longer available for my cruiser so I bought the cd version. Not very handy for actually working on the bike.I'm assuming the RT manual is also not available from BMW in paper.Any sources? Ken H.
Clymer and Hanyes both publish generic oilhead manuals that will cover a lot of it. You are correct, the official BMW manual is only on CD. Put a computer in the garage! Link to comment
Softtail
Get the Haynes, it appears to be the better of the two. <<<<Softtail>>>>> Link to comment

Haynes manual is good for routine maintenance, as well as some non-routine procedures. For the rare items not listed in Haynes, I print out just the relevant pages from the BMW CD before starting the job. Link to comment
