bmwdavid
Hi I am considering the new RT. I am in Connecticut and was wondering if MSRP is what is being paid or is there room for negation. If MSRP is the price, what has anyone been able to negotiate into the deal? Thanks Dave Link to comment
mickeym3
Your best bet is to call the Max BMW store in Danbury and simply negotiate 'tough'....but I personally doubt there has been any deals given unless it's for a very good customer with multiple past bike purchases. The new RT is THAT good and the dealers know it. If you do score a discount let us know! Link to comment
kgerry
from what i have gathered talking to different dealers here in Canada, sales of the new RT are VERY STRONG and likely they wont be discounting anything until end of season...up here in some cases you will be lucky to get one as dealers only get so many allocations.... bmwdavid
I am hoping to hear from anyone that has recently bought one. If they aren't discounting MSRP how about the top box, Navigation, engine guars, 600 mile service etc...? Link to comment
Nomore76
I paid MSRP, and got 10% off all accessories and the 600 mile service. A buddy in New Jersey also paid MSRP, but got 20% off any extras. Link to comment
ShooterSteve
My dealer also offers MSRP with 20% off accessories for as long as you own your bike. I also had it from my last bike. It's hard to deal when you are waiting for them to arrive off the truck. If you find a dealer with a few in stock, I'm sure you can get a bit of a deal. I wanted to support my dealer closest to where I live and where it will be serviced. Link to comment
Moto-maineiac
I was able to negotiate a price well under MSRP. This is for a bike I placed a $500 deposit on back in December. I didn't worry about the discount on accessories and they weren't interested in rolling in the first service, which was fine. Some of the dealers have "Make an Offer" on the websites and that is just what I did. About two days of calls and emails exchanged and we reached agreement. Link to comment
Rob
I was able to get a nice discount on my '14 RT. The dealer always provides the 600 free. Also got a nice discount on extra's. Dealer knows that they will make up any lost revenue with the service they provide. It pays to be loyal to a business. Link to comment
