A BIG thank you, and four questions...

As 30+ yr rider, but a 2 year newbie to BMW and this board, I first wish to convey my thanks to the collective membership for the knowledge imparted. With only 15k on my '04 R1150RT, I'm proud that its only trip to the dealership has been for the 600mi. check, and a warranty issue with the windscreen relay.

The Valve adjusts, TB syncs, and brake bleeds and other maintenance were done solo, without incident, thanks to the great members and knowledge gained here.

I also want to thank those classified posters for the great deals on shocks, gear and more.

Four questions if I may:

What other db's do you frequent that compare?

What other hobbies do you have that compare?

What roads are a must drive on our trip from WI to TN this spring?

When will my splines give up the ghost? blush.gif

Jeff in Milwaukee who also frequents advrider, likes R/C, plans to traverse US129, and hopes never.

I frequent no other dbs. No time!

I love to race my sandrail in the dunes!

There are no good roads between WI and the Ohio river, flat, straight, lots of corn & soybeans. Take the slab and get it over with!

Your splines will go when the warranty runs out (best guess)
