06 & 2011 Windshield windshield protection-passenger

The earlier (pre 2010) windshields had a smoothly contoured top to them.

The newer camheads (2010-13) have a convex shape on top that dips down in the middle.

 

Question- as far as wind hitting the passenger, does the older style windshield offer more, the same, or less wind buffeting protection? For the driver I wouldn't expect much difference because the shield can be raised to get in the quiet zone.
