tourunigo
I really apologize if this topic has been cooked to death in the past. However, my question is: In the collective wisdom this group, and disregarding cost (gulp...), what is the best long distance saddle for two up touring? We may not get one for this coming season (unless someone has a used one for a good price) but, suspecting that the 2007 MOA rally will be in the far southwest, we want to start looking now. Thanks for any advise. -Bob Link to comment

Jon_M
...what is the best long distance saddle for two up touring? I rode a K11LT for ten years before I sold it to get my present R12RT. The perfect seat for me on the K was a factory-option low seat that I had re-done in leather by Rick Mayer. It was not cheap, but for me it was ideal. Comfortable for all-day rides and low enough to let me flatfoot the bike in low-speed situations. See it here. Link to comment
