9 November-the Python and the Snake

I've done these roads before but want to run them again. Weather dependent, I will leave at 0730-0800ish from the house and return when completed. Currently, while still too far in advance to be accurate, the sun should be shining and high's in the low 60's.....sweet!

Ridden the Snake quite a few time. But now I feel dumb as one who has ridden quite bit out that way the past few years ... which road is called the Python?

 

One suggestion that if you really need to head up SR 133 that you first go ride the rest of The Snake (US-421) over to Denton Valley Rd and then turn around and ride the same segment in reverse before heading north on SR-133.

 

BTW: I'm heading out to Galax this weekend to do a bit of scouting of backroads, as well as just riding for pleasure. Will be dipping down into NC a bit immeidate north of you. If you want to tag a long some Sat, just send me a PM so we can figure out when/how to meet up.

The Mighty Python reference, and I saw it referenced as Python somewhere else, but cannot recall.
