RT fork assembly question

I'm in mid fork-seal project & came to a vague point in reassembly. Is there a trick to alligning the forks before tightening the lower fork bridge bolts? Have I errored in their removal and now have to cow back to a dealer for some precision alignment? I was just going to run the axle through them & put them back the way I found them. Will this work or will there be alignment issues?

I installed the axle and front wheel before tightening the lower fork bridge. The wheel and axle align the forks.
