Paging Huzband: Kickoff is this Thursday night

The 2012 College Football season kicks off this coming Thursday evening at 7PM. Among the many games that will commence at that time is the South Carolina at Vanderbilt game. Of local interest to me is the UMass @ UConn game. In any case, we're coming down to the wire and we need a formal "2012 College Football" thread in which to collect all the trash talk on the forum.

 

Also, and most importantly, on September 1st, at 8PM, Michigan and Alabama kick off at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX!!! Big game, baby. Big game.

 

So somebody go get Danny and tell him to come online here and kick this thing off!

We are front and center in Death Valley this Saturday night. Redemption is coming this year if all goes as planned. Bama is coming to our house this year and it going to be absolutely crazy.

OK, so let's do this: since Alabama and LSU played for the National Championship, if our resident 'Bama representative is unavailable to kick off the season thread, then how about an LSU rep do so? That means you, ericfoerster or one of the other few LSU fans on this forum.

 

Here's what I propose, if Danny doesn't start the new thread by this coming Wednesday, then the honor goes to an LSU fan to do so -- first come first start the thread on Wednesday. This, of course, assumes that we don't have another hard-core Alabama fan on this forum like Danny is. I mean hard core, 'Bama is your #1 drop dead team bar none!

 

All I know is come September first, I get to find out just how good a team Michigan is going to be this fall. If I have it my way, I'll be the one starting the new thread this time next year! In fact, my pick would be Michigan/USC in the National Championship game

best thursday night in a long time. espn3 on mac and 58" plasma with SC/Vandy, which was a great game. even managed to watch some of the BYU/WST game.
