2004 R1150RT battery charger

I've the opportunity to buy a used BMW Gel battery charger for $30. Part number 71 60 7 688 865. I have not been able to tell if this is suitable for my bike or not. Any suggestions? The owner used it on a 1200 GS

 

I don't know what type of battery my bike has at this point in time as I recently bought it used.

You need to buy new, no idea how old the used battery is and for a little more buy a new one that comes with 2 or 3 year worry free biking.

The original poster's question was about buying a used charger, not a battery. Yes, the used bike he bought has a used battery in it but that wasn't the question.

 

The charger (if it is in working condition) should work fine for your bike.
