wz31857 Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I had loaded my gs911 on a laptop that was an XP version ,I just picked up a new computer with windows 7 and when I try to install the software version I need it stalls at that point and won't open the download version page. I had no problems with the xp. I emaile HEX and all they did was send a how to video.Has anyone else had this problem.
roger 04 rt Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I'm only using Windows 7 and it installed and operated OK. I remember though that it asked me to install a new Downloader. Try Uninstalling the Downloader program in your Windows 7 computer and then going to the Hexcode Download Site and installing the Downloader that way. I noticed it also forced me to install a new USB driver. One more idea, look through Google Groups Support Forum. RB
dirtrider Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Morning wz31857 Are you logged on as a administrator ? If not try that as your current log on might not have proper permissions to install programs. Also-- Depending on your anti-virus program you might have to disable that to install a new program. Next- Try Rogers suggestions. If still no go try using the "Program Compatibility Wizard" that Windows 7 & has available.
Alan D Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I think you can right click on the installation program and chose "run as administrator"
