Glenn Reed Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Few pics with this article on BMW supporting the Olympics but an interesting read. And they also have this: http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/46793/bmw-mini-mini-radio-controlled-cars Methinks they misspoke on one portion, where they say that the little Minis will carry the athletic equipment inside, and go on to state that they can carry two javelins. My wife has a roadgoing Mini, and it couldn't carry two javelins inside without opening the sunroof or rear hatch, so unless these things are like the TARDIS, and much bigger on the inside than the outside, I don't see this.
bikebits Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 ] Methinks they misspoke on one portion, where they say that the little Minis will carry the athletic equipment inside, and go on to state that they can carry two javelins. My wife has a roadgoing Mini, and it couldn't carry two javelins inside without opening the sunroof or rear hatch, so unless these things are like the TARDIS, and much bigger on the inside than the outside, I don't see this. There was a video of these on the news. They have open tops and the large items like javelins are carried vertically like a mobile umbrella stand.
