Silver trim paint code?

Can someone tell me the paint code and/or color code of the matt silver used for the bike trim and top case of the R1200RT? I don't see any codes under my seat (2007 model).

 

I've done some searches, and find stuff like Weiss Aluminum Metallic Matt and Schiefer Dunkel Metallic Matt. But I can't find a color code for them, and not sure which color it really is. And colorite only shows the primary colors.

 

I bought a Unigo trailer, and am trying to get it coated in a color matched Line-X material.

Exact match for the silver trim on my 2006 R1200RT:

 

Color-Rite

Manufacturer : BMW

Manufacturer Code : 954

 

I'm not familiar with Line-X, but it appears it has to be applied by a body shop. I would leave it up to them to match colors.

It's typically a truck bed liner material. They're asking me for a color code. If 954 matches your bike's silver trim, and I know my 2007 uses the same color, I think I've found a winner!

So, the solution to your problem is BMW parts fiche. I like realoem.com

 

When you find your main color, the color code for the trim will be on the same page.

 

There is a very small sticker on your rear fender under the seat, but this color code is for the COMBINATION, i.e. the main color and the trim color(s) combined. You have to view the fiche to find the individual codes.

My '09 is Weiss Aluminum Metallic Matte #3. Call or email Holt BMW and ask them . They are a BMW dealer and Glasurit (OEM Paint Manufacturer) dealer. They know all the codes! www.holtbmw.com
