RAMBLIN RED
Does anyone have an online source for 150 degree centigrade rated teflon wire? I need about 7 feet to replace the wires on my hes thingamajigger. Maybe you have some for sale? Sorry I forgot to say 22awg Link to comment
FlyingFinn
This is the first one that came on Google search for "high temperature wire" PexSupply One thing to pay attention to is the type of the conductor wire. Many of the hi-temp wires use some non-copper stranded wire that can not be soldered. The tin simply doesn't flow and attach to it. Only way to make the connections with that stuff is to crimp. Not sure about the stuff on that link. -- Mikko Link to comment
RAMBLIN RED
thanks for the response. Specs. call for 22awg. I don't know if there is room for 14 awg. Link to comment
oldironhead
You can fudge a size or two, but 14 gauge is waaaaay too big. This place is one of several good sources. Link to comment

smiller
Google links abound: http://www.surplussales.com/wire-cable/Wire4.html http://www.bulkwire.com/wire-cable/ptfe-high-temperature-stranded-wire.html http://www.nteinc.com/wire/PTFE.php?a=6#22gauge You can use 22 or 24 gauge, or probably even smaller, the current draw of the sensors is negligible.
