Well if so, spring time is around the corner and we should hook up for some mountain riding. I live less than 5 minutes away from Morrison exit and Red Rocks. Cheers!

"Spring time" showed up today - as it seems to at least once a month during our winters. Maybe you were part of the two-wheeled throng I was waving to all day.

Sorry for the delayed response - I don't always check the Ride & Event Planning threads.

I missed that window of opportunity yesterday and of course when I did find the time the high winds along the foothills started to blow. Pending todays weather, I am hoping to get out for a short ride today.

High Town Crew, eh? I like it!

Hey Tony,

Hope you got out, but yep the wind has been gnarly lately. A cruel injustice - as soon as we get a warmer day, the wind machine fires up - but that's Feb./Mar. in Colorado. High Town Crew was my nod to the Chicago riders (Chi-Town Crew) and the San Diego riders (Dry-Town Crew). Ironically, it's a crew of one right now :). Maybe your promptings will change that. Actually, one of the rider groups in the area should adopt the moniker.

Steve,

Your book looks like a real treat - stellar reviews. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy. And, thanks for the info on Colorado Beemers. Looks like a good group.

Tony,

Sign me up for the next 'windless' ride.

Been blowing 'like a banshee' around the DTC!

LPOL..."with the seat that wouldn't fit"...hah!

Ha! Blowing wind is always fun around here. Looking forward to riding with y'all as soon as the mountain roads are safe to ride again.

Well, I'd be happy to be the second member of the High-Town Crew. Great riding weather yesterday...I hope all of you got to get a ride in. Maybe we can get together for a ride soon. It's a bummer I have to take my RT in next Friday and get the fork seals rebuilt. Got me a little oil seep in the left fork :(

Things are looking good up here now weather has been hitting the high 40s and time to break out the 2 wheelers. I have to run down to Denver Thursday and pickup the RS so should be a great ride home.

Anyone up for a ride this coming sat the 19th? Thinking about riding Golden Gate Canyon to 119 to Peak to Peak to Estes and then drop back down 36 to Boulder. Thinking about heading out around 0800.
